| Favorite Player and Why: | ERIC LINDROS; for all he has been maligned (some of it justified), nobody else playing today can take over a game like he can (when he wants to). 2002-2003 was the first season where he did not score more points than the number of games in which he appeared. He has never been a minus in his ten years in the NHL, and is a plus 212 for his career. He is still the Flyers’ all-time leader in points per game. The entire Flyers team of the mid-1990’s was built around him in a way they could build around no other player at the time. Big #88 will find his stride again, be it in NY or somewhere else. | |
